Description
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is an undergraduate course offered for those interested in pursuing a career in teaching. The B.Ed. degree is mandatory for teaching at the secondary (classes 6 to 10) and higher secondary (10+2 or classes 11 and 12). After B.Ed., students can pursue Master of Education (M.Ed.)
M.Ed or Master of Education is a master degree course that deals with the study of new methods of teaching and educational research. The program focuses on different aspects of education including instruction, curriculum, counseling, leadership, and educational technology. The regulatory body in charge of the M.Ed program is the National Council of Higher Education (NCHE).

GMIU Different modes of Teaching - Learning Process
Keeping in view New Education Policy (NEP- 20) recommendation in mind, following innovative teaching learning modes and choice based credit system (CBCS) are proposed
Regular (2 Years) Program (B.Ed)
After successful completion of 2 years regular program, students will be awarded UG degree in their chosen Major discipline with 140 (minimum) credits.
Regular (2 - Years) Program (M.Ed)
After successful completion of 2 years regular program, students will be awarded PG degree in their chosen Major discipline with 140 (minimum) credits.
Blended / Flipped Mode
Based on NEP - 2020, full flexibility in teaching learning methodology is offered to the students. Students can opt for blended (hybrid) or flipped mode of teaching. This pedagogical approach offers a mixture of traditional and online activities and the integration of synchronous and asynchronous learning tools, thus providing an optimal possibility for the arrangement of effective learning processes based on students' choice and availability.
